Dubai, 18 June 2017: The DataFlow Group – a leading global provider of specialised Primary Source Verification (PSV) solutions, and background screening and immigration compliance services – has signed a partnership agreement with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand (OTBNZ), the health regulatory authority responsible for ensuring the safety of consumers using occupational therapy services throughout the country.
As part of the agreement, the DataFlow Group will verify the credentials of new occupational therapy professionals looking to practice under the OTBNZ. This will be done through the implementation of a tailored program that combines PSV and CrossCheck services – one of the largest online databases in the world for comprehensive international criminality, regulatory and terrorism risk coverage. Verified credentials will include academic, identification, health license and certificate of good standing documents, as well as professional reference checks.
“We are pleased to partner with the OTBNZ as we enhance our presence in New Zealand and ensure that occupational therapy practitioners across the country are fit and qualified to practice. By adopting our PSV and CrossCheck solutions, the OTBNZ will not only safeguard the wellbeing of patients, but will also mitigate various internal and external risks resulting from document forgery,” commented Michel Nassif, CCO of the DataFlow Group.
In turn, Andrew Charnock, CEO and Registrar of the OTBNZ, added: “Having PSV will provide an extra layer of assurance that practitioners on our register are safe to practice in New Zealand.”
