Per Setterberg

Chairman

Per worked with Global Blue between 1988 and 2014, for the last 16 years as President and CEO,  driving the expansion from a local presence in the Nordic countries to the world leader with operations in 41 countries. Per was formerly a senior manager for PwC and a Swedish State Authorised Accountant.

Chairman of Dataflow Ltd, Elevate Ltd and VFS Global, Per is a Swedish national and Switzerland resident, with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Lund, Sweden.

Dr. Lars Gatenbeck
MD, PhD

Lars previously held leading positions in the European and US Pharmaceutical industry, a career including being Vice President of Pharmacia and Pharmacia Upjohn with global responsibility for several Therapy and Business Areas. Dr Gatenbeck has also been CEO and President of the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, one of Europe’s leading university hospitals and Chairman for the Swedish Healthcare Industry organisation, Swecare.

Chairman and Founder of Life Equity Group. He has extensive experience of corporate governance as board member of several public and private companies in Europe and Asia. Presently, Dr Gatenbeck serves as Chairman of the Boards of Akademikliniken, Memira, Life Medical Sweden and on the Boards of Christian Berner Tech Trade AB and the DataFlow Group. He serves as a Senior Industry Advisor to EQT and Industrifonden.

James Gundry

James was born in Scotland and educated at Fettes College. Starting his early career with a  Private Client Stockbroking firm in Edinburgh James moved to Hong Kong in his mid 20’s where he worked with Michael Page, specialising in banking back office appointments. In 1996 he joined Robert Walters as Managing Director -Hong Kong and established their first office in Asia. In 1998 he established Quest, a specialist executive search firm in Hong Kong and later in Manila.

In 2016, Quest in the Philippines entered into an agreement with Robert Walters and rebranded as Robert Walters and today is non-executive Chairman for Robert Walters in the Philippines. He was a founder of Quest Research (now First Advantage -Asia) which was Asia’s largest pre-employment screening company at the time it was sold to First Advantage. He was a founder shareholder of Integrascreen (now part of Thomson Reuters) and the DataFlow Group and serves as an Independent Director on DataFlow’s board of Directors.

Majdi Al-Sahhaf

Majdi A. Al-Sahhaf has worked for the Public and Private sectors for more than thirty years. With an established track record in management, banking, finance, sales, marketing, communications, public relations and relationship management; Majdi holds a Master’s degree in International Communications from the School of International Service at the American University, Washington DC and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from King Saud University of Saudi Arabia.

He is currently advising on Public Policies and Government Affairs for PepsiCo Middle East and Africa; prior to this advisory role in PepsiCo, Majdi served as an Advisor to the Minister of Commerce and Industry, and concurrently served as the Managing Director of the Saudi Commercial Attachés, a Board Member of the King Fahad Causeway Authority, and a Board Member of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, as well as a member of the executive team of MCI.

Simon Griffiths

Simon rejoined EQT Partners in 2020 as Head of Private Equity Asia Pacific. He previously spent seven years in Asia with EQT, initially in Hong Kong before moving to establish the Singapore office and EQT’s Southeast Asia business. Simon also led EQT’s first investment in Australia. Prior to EQT, Simon was the Managing Partner for Bain & Company’s Nordic business. There he worked very closely with EQT for over ten years, advising on over thirty investments that EQT made in the Nordic region.

Simon holds an MBA (with distinction) from INSEAD and graduated in Russian and French from Oxford University.
